ZAMBOANGA CITY – An abandoned newborn baby was discovered at the gate of an elementary school here on Thursday, May 28.
Barangay Tetuan Chairman Richard Mariano said the baby was brought to a local hospital for checkup.
The baby was turned over to the City Social Welfare and Development Office for proper care.
Authorities are still investigating the case. (Liza Jocson)
