Lady Altas hope to end slump vs Lady Cardinals

The University of Perpetual Help Lady Altas hope to end a three-game skid when they face the Mapua Lady Cardinals on Friday, May 2, in the NCAA Season 100 Women’s Volleyball Tournament at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.

Game is set at 12 noon with both teams out get back on the winning track with Lady Altas aching to improve a 7-4 slate.

The Lady Cardinals, on the other hand, are determined to redeem themselves after being upset by the Lyceum Lady Pirates, 25-16, 25-15, 27-29, 23-25, 15-10.

But one thing going for Mapua is that it beat Perpetual in the first round.

Meantime, the Altas are looking to extend their win run to three games when they collide with the Cardinals at 9:30 a.m.

Coach Sandy Rieta wants to get back into the win column while keeping their Final Four hopes alive with a standing 7-4 win loss record.
