Nicole Scherzinger is spending time in the Philippines, posting glimpses of her trip that highlight both the country’s natural beauty and her own personal ties to it.
The singer and actress, whose father is from Batanes, shared a reel of herself swimming in Palawan’s clear waters.
Her caption read: “Imagine having blood that ties you to a place this breathtaking.”
The post quickly circulated among fans, many of whom praised her for embracing her Filipino roots during a rare visit back to the country.

The trip wasn’t limited to the beach.
On September 13, Scherzinger attended the soft launch of the refurbished Meralco Theater in Manila, where she met OPM veteran Gary Valenciano.
He later posted about their encounter on Instagram, calling her an “outstanding, amazing, awe-inspiring Tony Award Winner” and describing her as “down-to-earth and humble.”
Scherzinger responded warmly in the comments: “Famous Gary! Love to you and Angeli!”
The visit comes as Scherzinger continues a busy career that recently earned her a Tony Award for her West End turn in “Sunset Boulevard.”
