ZAMBOANGA CITY – Authorities seized five kilos of suspected shabu worth ₱34 million in a buy-bust operation at a mall parking lot here on Tuesday.
Three alleged drug pushers from Tawi-Tawi and Sulu were arrested. Police recovered five plastic bags containing shabu and a pickup truck from the suspects.
Their suspected leader, however, managed to escape.
The seized drugs were sent to the crime laboratory for examination. The suspects are now facing inquest proceedings. (Liza Jocson)
