Police arrested a 24‑year‑old man in Quezon City after he broke into a private school and stole valuables worth ₱95,000.

The suspect, identified as alias “Buboy” of Barangay Sauyo, was nabbed by Talipapa Police Station (PS 3) operatives during a follow‑up operation on Aug. 23.

CCTV footage showed Buboy and another man sneaking into the school at around 12:35 a.m. on Aug. 22.

Investigators said the suspects gained entry through an overgrown rear portion of the compound, climbed onto the roof, and crossed the railings to reach the administration office.

Once inside, they forcibly opened the doors and ransacked the room.

The school had been closed for several days while its administrator was out of town.

A relative staying on the premises discovered the break‑in early the next morning and reported the incident to police.

Buboy later led authorities to hidden loot, including cellphones, hard drives, a speaker, a CCTV camera, and a red bag.

Other stolen items, including cameras, USB devices, and about ₱150,000 in cash, remain missing.

He will face charges of robbery in an uninhabited place before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office, while police continue to hunt for his cohort.
