There is no doubt that young musician Christof has a bright future ahead of him in music.
He is a passionate musician focused on creating timeless tunes relatable to many.
Christof officially signed with Star Magic just last year. He has since dropped his debut album under ABS-CBN’s record label, Star Pop. It contains a treasure trove of songs drawing inspiration from pop, rock, and alternative influences.
At a recent gathering, Christof expressed gratefulness to Star Magic for allowing him the opportunity to share his music.
“If I were to name one thing that I’m most grateful for when it came to joining Star Magic, it would have to be the support and the community that I was able to be a part of. Star Magic has a very healthy and very loving community,” he said.
He added, “I cannot be more thankful for them opening their arms and welcoming me into their family.”
While he comes from a family of esteemed actors—being the son of Gladys Reyes and Christopher Roxas—Christof has deliberately carved out his own creative path.
“The plan is always there to eventually enter acting, but as of now, music is my home base. I admire the profession of acting. I admire the art. I admire everyone in that space. But this [music] is my passion, and no one can touch me when it comes to my music,” Christof shared.
Asked to describe his music, he said, “I make it a point to write personal, honest, relatable songs.”
The young artist also shared a glimpse of his life outside of music.
“I’m currently a third-year college student, studying Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of the Philippines Diliman. I couldn’t be any prouder of how far I’ve come because it’s not easy trying to balance all of these. But we’re pushing through it.”
