Puregold transformed Burnham Green Park into a pop-powered playground over the weekend, closing its inaugural Hakot Relay Run with a sunset concert that had Luneta vibrating with energy.

As the sky eased into gold, P-Pop favorites KAIA, G22, and Press Hit Play took turns igniting the stage, their upbeat tracks sending the crowd into choreographed waves of singing, yelling.

But the loudest eruption came when breakout duo BreKa — Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca —stepped into the stage amid sunset glow.
Their arrival flipped the park into full frenetic mode, with fans belting out every lyric.

The concert capped what had already been a vibrant day as Puregold debuted its Hakot Relay Run, a three-kilometer race that ditched typical competition for a more Filipino, more, err, Puregold twist.
Instead of gunning for speed, teams of three mapped out strategies for the hakot segment, where runners grabbed grocery items and stuffed them into sling bags before tagging the next teammate. The result was cheerful chaos as shared by families, barkadas, and weekend warriors.

Note that Puregold President Vincent Co, a dedicated health buff, joined the run himself.
Co, who has also become a familiar name in entertainment circles thanks to his relationship with actress Bea Alonzo, was warmly welcomed by participants throughout the course.

“All wins count,” Co shared. “This Hakot Relay Run is a chance to bring families, friends, and communities together.”
