GMA’s “Maria Clara At Ibarra” continues to impress viewers several weeks into the season with its stars allowing for sustained stellar performances.
Foremost among them is Andrea Torres who has created a huge impact among viewers as Sisa.
In the episode that aired Thursday, Nov. 10, Andrea once again put on display excellent acting breaking down as she is dragged by hospital attendants for treatment.
Apparently, she believes she was betrayed by Barbie Forteza as Klay who was actually as distraught as her following the scenario.
Note that Barbie has been wowing fans for her seemingly effortless portrayal of the intrepid time-traveller.
The same could be said of Dennis Trillo as Ibarra, Julie Anne San Jose as Maria Clara, and Juancho Triviño as Padre Salvi.
As one observer put it, “They all gracefully brought to life the characters Jose Rizal created all those years ago.”
In any case, fans are caught up in the twists and turns of the story.
In the last episode, Klay and Maria Clara finally meet again prompting Crisostomo Ibarra to admit to his lady love that the former is not her cousin after all, breaking her heart in the process.
Fans are left hanging as to how the three would resolve the issue.
