Andrea Brillantes’ journey in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” has officially come to an end. Her character, Fatima Benito, was killed off in the hit ABS-CBN primetime series in a manner that left fans both sad and impressed by the actress’ bold performance.
In her exit interview with CCM Film Productions, Andrea looked back on her experience with warmth and honesty, saying she deeply related to Fatima’s struggles.
Andrea said she admired Fatima’s courage and conviction, and that the role reminded her of the importance of speaking up for what’s right.

When asked about her favorite moments from the show, Andrea listed four scenes that stood out — her fiery speech against the Guerreros, her trending intimate scene with Jake Cuenca, the tense kidnapping attempt on Tanggol, and her emotional crying scene when her character witnessed David’s death.
Beyond the drama, Andrea expressed deep gratitude to Coco Martin, who serves as the show’s lead actor, director, and producer.
“Thank you sa kanya, and sana makatrabaho ko pa siya ulit. It was an honor at madami akong natutunan sa kanya, ang dami kong na-observe. It was definitely an experience, itong stay ko here,” she said.
Before signing off, Andrea left a message to fans who have followed her “Batang Quiapo” journey:
Enjoy the ride.
