Letran's Judiel Nitura tries to score against younger but more popular sister Shaina.

Adamson clinched the No. 1 seed in the semifinals with a dominant 25-18, 25-17, 25-16 sweep of Letran, extending its winning streak to six games in the 2025 V-League Collegiate Challenge on Wednesday afternoon at the Paco Arena Events and Sports Center in Manila.
Riding the momentum of an unbeaten run in the eight-team tournament organized by Sports Vision, the Lady Falcons once again shone as star hitter Shaina Nitura drew timely support from rookie opposite spiker Abby Segui and Frances Mordi.
Shaina outdueled her older sister Judiel, finishing with 10 points and seven excellent receptions. Segui stepped up with 12 points on 10 attacks, one ace, and one block, helping Adamson secure the top seed with a still-unscathed 6-0 win-loss slate.
Adamson wasted no time in the third set, racing to a commanding 14-3 lead that proved to be the difference.
Behind back-to-back attacks from Mordi, a net fault by Jade Isar, and a quick hit by Kamille Dionisio, the Lady Falcons built a 20-6 cushion that was too steep for Letran to recover from.
Judiel paced the Lady Knights with 13 points and four excellent digs, while Joralyn Panangin added six markers in the losing effort.
Meantime, Ateneo secured a breakthrough win in the 2025 V-League Collegiate Challenge, defeating Arellano University in four sets, 25-13, 9-25, 25-21, 25-20.

Zey Pacia led the charge with an all-around performance, scoring 23 points built on 22 attacks and one ace, while also contributing five excellent receptions and five excellent digs.
With her efforts, Ateneo improved to a 1-3 record, tying Arellano, which absorbed its third straight defeat.
