After two decades, GMA continues the legacy of its iconic fantasy series “Encantadia” with the highly anticipated “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre,” premiering this June 16.

At the heart of this new chapter is Bianca Umali as Terra, the keeper of the Earth Gem. She is joined by Faith da Silva as Sang’gre Flamarra, the keeper of the Fire Gem; Angel Guardian as Deia, the Air Gem bearer; and Kelvin Miranda as Diwang Adamus, the keeper of the Water Gem.

In the series, Terra grows up in the world of humans. With powers rooted in ancient magic, she eventually takes on the superhero codename “Sang’gre.”

But while a new guardian rises, a storm brews. In a place called Mine-a-ve, Rhian Ramos plays Mitena, the Ice Princess and Lireo’s newest Hara, who unleashes havoc driven by wrath and vengeance.

As the new elemental guardians, Terra, Flamarra, Deia, and Adamus must unite to stop Mitena and protect both the human and encantado realms.

The lead cast shares that “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre” is more than a fantasy spectacle—it’s a story of embracing one’s uniqueness, standing up for what’s right, remaining strong through adversity, and valuing the strength of family.

Kelvin reflects, “I learned a lot doing this show, not just as an actor but as a person. I hope to inspire people to always choose to do what’s right. Of course, we’re human—we make mistakes—but we can use those mistakes as lessons to become better.”

Angel adds, “I want people to realize there’s power in silence. You don’t need to shout or be loud to prove your strength. Stand strong in the face of the storm.”

Bianca shares, “I think this show is for anyone who’s ever felt different. You might not be like everyone else, but you have a purpose. You just have to find it and fulfill it.”

Faith relates, “Since my character is tied to fire, I want to remind viewers that while fire can be powerful and destructive, it can also be a source of light. That’s how it is for all of us. There’s both good and bad inside, but we rise above it by choosing to do what is right.”

The series also marks the return of the 2016 lead cast of Encantadia: Glaiza de Castro as Pirena, Kylie Padilla as Amihan, Sanya Lopez as Danaya, and Gabbi Garcia as Alena.

Also appearing in the series are Manilyn Reynes, Buboy Garovillo, Benjie Paras, Sherilyn Reyes-Tan, Martin Del Rosario, Therese Malvar, Vince Maristela, Matt Lozano, Paolo Paraiso, Shiela Marie Rodriguez, Pam Prinster, Moi Bien, Lotlot Bustamante, Heath Jornales, and the late Ricky Davao.

Adding even more excitement are Gabby Eigenmann, Bianca Manalo, Jon Lucas, Jamie Wilson, Shuvee Etrata, Mika Salamanca, Billie Hakenson, and Hailey Dizon in special roles.

Rounding out the cast are Solenn Heussaff as Cassiopea, Luis Hontiveros as Soldarius, Cheska Inigo as Mashna Mayca, Gab Gueco as Mantuk, Kiel Gueco as Tukman, and Noel Urbano as the voice of Imaw.

Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre is produced by the GMA Entertainment Group, led by Officer-In-Charge and Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, Assistant Vice President for Drama Ali Nokom-Dedicatoria, Senior Program Manager Camille Hermoso-Hafezan, and Executive Producer Winnie Holis-Reyes.

The creative team is composed of Creative Director Aloy Adlawan, Content Development Consultant and National Artist Ricky Lee, Concept Creator and Creative Consultant Suzette Doctolero, Creative Consultant Des Garbes Severino, and Head Writers Suzette Doctolero and Onay Sales-Camero. Writers include Patrick Ilagan, Emerson Jake Somera, Greg Aldrin, Libay Trinidad-Villaroman, and Nehem Debad Dallego.
