Instead of holding a virtual Christmas party, the UAAP Board of Managing Directors decided to donate more than P200,000 worth of goods to families in Payatas and Bagong Silangan in Quezon City and Montalban in Rizal.

The program, the UAAP said, benefitted 390 families.

Adamson University athletes led the packing of the relief goods.

The UAAP was hardly hit by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic with the cancellation of the Season 82 second semester schedule early this year, as well as the rest of Season 83.

The league is hoping the country’s health situation would improve in the coming months as they target to open Season 84 in September 2021.
