Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte on Wednesday called on her constituents to follow the words of former President Manuel L. Quezon, especially in times of uncertainty, as the city commemorated his 142 birth anniversary.
In her video message, Belmonte said, “like what President Quezon said, we should act like a Molave Tree that is strong and sturdy (matatag at matibay).”
“Ngayong araw, ating pinagdiriwang ang anibersaryo ng kapanganakan ng ama ng ating lungsod,” she said. (Joseph Pedrajas)
