Miguel Tabuena carded a third-straight one-under-par 71 but it was not enough as he slipped to a share of 47th place in the season-opening LIV Golf League at the Riyadh Golf Club in Saudi Arabia on Friday, Feb. 7.
The four-time Asian Tour champion struggled with a double-bogey on the par-5 third hole before shooting four birdies against a bogey on the 17th to tally a 213 over three rounds.
Playing for Dustin Johnson’s 4Aces team, he trailed co-leaders Elvin Smylie and Peter Uihlein by 13 strokes.
Smylie, who competes for Ripper GC, was flawless after shooting an eagle-aided, bogey-free 65 for a three-round tally of 200, while Uihlein fired a 66 highlighted by seven birdies against a lone bogey.
