TV5 welcomes 2026 with a powerhouse lineup of new original series, returning legacy shows, and a refreshed primetime block that promises bigger and bolder stories and more reasons for Filipinos to tune in.

Headlining TV5’s new originals is “A Secret in Prague”, a romance thriller starring Enrique Gil and Andrea Brillantes.

The series follows Mikoy, an ordinary guy who falls for a mafia boss’ daughter, forcing him to choose between protecting his own family or betraying the woman he loves.

Meanwhile, “My Bespren Emman” promises exciting action, topbilled by JM De Guzman, Shaina Magdayao, Ai-Ai Delas Alas, and Sid Lucero.

JM plays a reformed ex-con seeking justice after being framed by a criminal gang, finding unexpected friendship along the way.

Medical drama takes center stage with “The Good Doctor”, the Philippine adaptation of the global hit, starring Iñigo Pascual as Luke “Dong” Cruz, a gifted surgeon on the autism spectrum.

Joining him are Tony Labrusca, Ryan Agoncillo, Gelli De Belen, and Mylene Dizon in a heartwarming story that balances brilliance, empathy, and human connection.

The epic saga continues in “The Kingdom: Magkabilang Mundo”, expanding the world of the acclaimed MMFF 2024 film that reimagines our country had it never been colonized.

Led by Piolo Pascual, Sue Ramirez, Cristine Reyes, Derek Ramsay, and Ryza Cenon, the series delves deeper into palace intrigues as Queen Sariyah’s reign is shaken by ancient bloodlines and power-hungry rivals.

Mystery and suspense collide in “Project Loki”, starring Marco Gallo, Jada Avanzado, and Dylan Menor.

Based on the hit Wattpad novel and produced by Studio Viva and Cignal Play, the series follows high school students drawn into a dangerous game of crime-solving and deception.

Dylan will also be headlining “Magic Boys” alongside Joao Constancia, Kych Minemoto, and Baileys Acot as four boarding school freshmen who discover extraordinary powers and serve as the last line of defense in a looming battle against evil.

Bringing back laughter and meaningful conversations is the return of “TikTalks”, hosted by Alex Calleja, G3 San Diego, Pat-P Daza, and Korina Sanchez, now joined by Rufa Mae Quinto.

TV5 also revives its original reality search, “Artista Academy”, now hosted by Julia Barretto and Xian Lim. Aspiring talents face weekly challenges, mentorship, and eliminations in their quest for stardom.

Completing the new reality slates are “Isayaw Mo”, a high-energy dance competition where seasoned street dancers are mentored by celebrity performers and battle it out weekly in live showdowns to determine the country’s ultimate dancer, and “Wilyonaryo”, marking Willie Revillame’s return to television with his signature brand of fun, surprise, and entertainment for the Filipino people, live from a new and bigger studio in Mandaluyong City starting this January 2026.

Alongside these shows, TV5 strengthens its TodoMax Primetime Singko starting January 2.

The line-up begins with “Una sa Lahat” at 5:30 PM, followed by an extended “Frontline Pilipinas” at 6:00 PM.

At 7:30 PM, flagship drama “Totoy Bato” continues as Kiko Estrada’s Totoy faces his ultimate showdown against Dwayne (Diego Loyzaga), with Claudine Barretto and Janno Gibbs joining the cast.

Cine Cinco Primetime dominates the 8:30 PM slot with blockbuster films, kicking off with the historic MMFF masterpiece “GomBurZa”, a first on Philippine free TV. This is followed by “Frontline Tonight” at 10:30 PM and “Vibe Nights” at 11:30 PM.
