Rabin Angeles is no longer a rising star—he’s now embracing the spotlight fully.
Viva Films’ first big release of 2026, “A Werewolf Boy”, marks his debut as a leading man, and the young actor is taking on the challenge with heart, determination.

“I’m overwhelmed,” Rabin says, eyes shining with excitement. “The trust Viva gave me is huge, and I’m truly grateful. I poured everything I had into this film to make it unforgettable.”

And unforgettable it is. The role demanded physical and emotional extremes, from long hours in prosthetics to fully embodying a boy on the edge of human and beast.

“Malagkit, mainit, at makati,” he laughs, recalling the makeup process. “But when I saw the teaser, I knew every sacrifice was worth it—it looks so realistic and alive.”
Sharing the screen with him is Angela Muji, who, according to Rabin, is his “biggest crush.”

Angela admits she’s flattered: “Nakaka-flatter talaga na sabihing crush ka ng isang Rabin Angeles!”
Their chemistry, already palpable in Viva One’s Wattpad hit “Seducing Drake Palma”, now deepens in this full-length film.

“Our bond really leveled up here,” Rabin says. “We’re so comfortable with each other, which made playing these roles easier and more natural.”
Angela nods in agreement: “Rabin’s a gentleman and very caring—it makes working with him effortless.”

In “A Werewolf Boy”, Angela’s character Sara moves with her family to the countryside due to illness. There, they discover a mysterious boy (Rabin) living in their barn, unable to speak and guided by animal instincts. As Sara teaches him how to eat, read, and behave like a human, a tender connection grows.
Through their bond, Boy experiences love and warmth for the first time, while Sara discovers renewed purpose in caring for him.
Directed by award-winning Crisanto Aquino (“My Future You,” “Instant Daddy”), the film also features powerhouse performers including Lorna Tolentino, Albie Casiño, Candy Pangilinan, Yayo Aguila, and Jeffrey Hidalgo.
“A Werewolf Boy” is set to hit theaters nationwide January 14, next year.
