ZUS Coffee rediscovered its old form and dismantled Nxled, 25-13, 25-21, 25-21, to tighten its hold of the top spot in the 2025 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference at the Ynares Center in Montalban on Tuesday, Nov. 18.

Determined to ease the pain of a three-set loss to the Cignal Super Spikers that halted their six-game winning run, the Thunderbelles vented their ire on the Chameleons and pounced on their rivals to finish the eliminations on a high note.

ZUS Coffee improved to a 7-1 win-loss record to remain on top of the leaderboard and would await their final seeding in the quarterfinals after the PLDT-Farm Fresh duel on Thursday, Nov. 20.

The High Speed Hitters and the Foxies tote identical 6-1 cards.

Import Anna DeBeer continued to steer the Thunderbelles with her all-around plays, scoring 16 points built on 13 kills, two blocks and one ace, while also contributing 11 excellent digs.

AC Miner also remained a huge force, pumping in 13 attacks and posting two blocks to finish with 15 points.

ZUS Coffee dictated the tempo for most parts of the 68-minute match despite Nxled trying to fight back to seize the momentum.

The Chameleons even closed the gap at 15-all in the third frame after Chiara Permentilla’s attack, but it proved to be short-lived as the Thunderbelles quickly regained their pace to claim the set and the match victory.

Chinnie Arroyo also shone for ZUS Coffee with 10 points, while Cloanne Mondonedo managed 23 excellent sets.

Nxled finished its campaign without a single win in all its seven matches despite consistent efforts of import Paola Martinez, who had 15 points in this match.
