Families can now easily locate the graves of their departed loved ones at the Manila North and South Cemeteries, thanks to a new digital service launched by Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso.

The initiative, rolled out ahead of Undas, allows residents to search for burial sites online—making cemetery visits more convenient and meaningful.

Through the websites manilanorthcemetery.ph and manilasouthcemetery.com, users can enter the names of the deceased and view their exact burial locations within the city-operated cemeteries.

“Maybe some of us haven’t visited our loved ones buried in the Manila North Cemetery for a long time,” Domagoso said.

“Through this program of your Manila City Government, you can now easily locate and visit your loved ones.”

The mayor said the project is especially helpful for families who have lost track of burial sites over the years, and aims to ease the flow of visitors during All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

He added that the cemetery locator is part of the city’s broader push to modernize public services and make information more accessible to Manileños.

“We want Manileños to have easier access to information, even when visiting their departed loved ones,” he said.

The online system was developed by the city government’s information technology team in coordination with the Manila North and South Cemetery offices. (Diann Calucin)
