Despite his season-ending injury, La Salle star guard Kean Baclaan asked for kindness and forgiveness as he urged hus fans to end the deep rage directed at University of the East’s Wello Lingolingo.
“Guys! Please wag nyo bash si Wello Lingolingo, sadya man or hindi kasama talaga yan sa larangan na ginagalawan namen,” said Baclaan.
Baclaan was diagnosed with torn medial collateral ligament (MCL) on his right knee after he and Lingolingo squabbled for the ball that ultimately led to the 5-foot-7 Green Archer being stretchered out with 4:20 left in the fourth.
The 21-year-old shifty guard shared that he has already made peace with Lingolingo, saying he is now turning his attention to recovery as he looks forward to a stronger comeback.
“Okay na kame at nakapag usap na kame at nakahingi na sya ng pasensya saken,” Baclaan continued.
“Makaka-move on din ang lahat sa ngayon focus muna ko sa rehab ko and maka recover ng mas maayos at mas malakas,” he concluded.
Baclaan’s mishap just put La Salle’s redemption bid in danger as another key piece Mason Amos is also nursing a similar injury.
Lingolingo, on the other hand, was suspended in their next three contests by UAAP.
