On September 29, Filomeno took to Instagram to finally address the swirl of chatter.
“I’ve been reading and hearing a lot these past few days and I ask that my past relationship, my present life, and the Lhuillier family be left out of this issue,” she wrote. “They don’t deserve to be dragged into something that has nothing to do with them. No further statements will be made at this time, and I kindly ask that people refrain from speculation or intrusions into my private affairs.”
In a follow-up post, she added a firm reminder: “I may be a public figure, but I am not public property. I ask that my private life remain private.”
Her words came after netizens noticed she and Cuenca had unfollowed each other on Instagram, igniting talk of a split.
Cuenca has yet to issue a statement.
But what many eagle-eyed fans found striking was how Filomeno didn’t even mention Cuenca in her post.
