For Kris Aquino, every day feels like another battle for her life.

Via her latest Instagram update, she described the latest findings from her
doctors as nothing less than “alarming.”

Posting a photo of her in a hospital bed while speaking with her doctor, as son
Bimby lay asleep nearby, she related how it was supposed to be a routine trip
for her second dose of Rituximab, but blood test results raised new concerns.

“She convinced me to have an ultrasound done yesterday… I can already tell
na dapat na kong kabahan pag umakyat na yung senior technician,” Kris
wrote.

More tests followed, with three different specialists telling her how urgent her
condition was.

“I would be endangering my life further if I delayed,” she admitted, reflecting
on how she has already endured more “life-threatening autoimmune diseases” than anyone should.

Despite being offered a non-invasive option, Kris made a choice from the heart: to trust her Filipino doctors fully.

“I chose to literally trust Filipino doctors with my life,” she said, mindful of the risks of stronger medication while her body remains under immunosuppressants.

Through it all, her sons remain her anchor. “Since the night before my confinement, Bimb hasn’t been sleeping well. Sunday, kuya came to visit me,” she shared.

In her closing words, Kris reached out not just for sympathy but for prayers.

“Please pray for all my doctors, all the nurses, and technicians. Wag sana
kayo sumuko sa pagdasal dahil kumukuha ako ng lakas galing sa kabutihang
loob ninyo,” she said.
