Brig. Gen. Jack L. Wanky, Police Regional Office 4A (PRO 4A) acting director, has ordered an investigation into the discovery of a green suitcase containing an estimated P204 million worth of suspected shabu in a vacant lot in Barangay Sabang, Naic, Cavite on Friday, June 20.
According to PRO 4A, a security guard alerted patrolling personnel from the Naic Municipal Police Station about the suitcase, which had been left by the roadside.
Upon inspection, authorities found heat-sealed packs of suspected shabu weighing approximately 30 kilos.
Wanky commended the community’s vigilance and cooperation, and directed a thorough investigation into the incident.
The seized items have been turned over to the Cavite Provincial Forensic Unit for laboratory examination.
As of this writing, the individuals responsible for abandoning the suitcase have yet to be identified. (Carla Bauto Deña)
