LYNN Ynchausti, the wife of actor Tirso Cruz III, took to social media to express grief over the death of their eldest son, TJ, who succumbed to cancer Wednesday at 37.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, Ynchausti looked back sharing how TJ once told her how proud he is to be called a “Mama’s Boy.”

She wrote, “I remember you telling me, ‘Di ako nahihiya, Ma, na tawaging Mama’s Boy. I am proud to be a Mama’s Boy!’ Oh my dearest TJ, I am proud of you, my dearest son!”

“Pinahiram ka ni Lord sa akin for 37 years, and I thank God for that. I am blessed! You are now dancing in heaven for the Lord! You fought a good fight, anak!” she added.

Ynchausti went on to enumerate things she would miss most.

She said: “I will miss our talks, ‘yung tawanan natin, ‘yung paghati natin sa food, ‘yung pagdaan mo sa room namin ni Papa mo before you leave the house and pag-uwi mo, ‘yung kumakanta tayong dalawa while you were in the hospital praising and worshiping God, our morning and evening prayer time.”

“So many things na nami-miss ko about you… So many beautiful memories, and I will cherish them for the rest of my life! You will always be in my heart! I love you, my son! Mama loves you, Mama’s Boy! I love you, TJ!”

Meanwhile, TJ’s younger brother, Bodie, posted:

“The battle with cancer for the past 6 months was tough, but it was also a time we got to experience God’s love and faithfulness in abundance as a family.

“I am so grateful to the Lord for your life that was filled with passion, boldness and love.

“You desired nothing but to serve God and to glorify Him through dancing. Now, you will be able to do it free from sickness and pain, and in front of our Creator Himself – and you get to worship Him there forever.

“I love you, Kuya.”

He went on to thank those who “stood with us in prayer.”

“Today, Kuya TJ has received the miracle of healing that we have believed God for. He is faithful,” he added.

He also posted the passage: “Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” (NEIL RAMOS)
