Fil-American Treat Huey stumbled anew in his mixed doubles campaign late Wednesday in the rain-delayed French Open at the Roland Garros claycourts.

The Philippines’ No. 1 player and Slovenian partner Andreja Klepac yielded to 2016 Australian Open mixed doubles champions Bruno Soares of Brazil and Elena Vesnina of Russia, 7-5, 7-6 (3), in the second round match that was played twice in a span of three days.

Huey had earlier lost his men’s doubles campaign with Max Mirnyi in the third round a few days ago.

AJ Lim, the country’s top junior netter, meanwhile, pulled off a stunning 6-3, 6-1 upset victory over third seed Ulises Blanch of the United States to march into the third round of the boys’ singles.

It was an impressive straight-set triumph from Lim, who is ranked No. 23 compared to his rival who is ranked No. 3 in the world juniors.
