Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – Police authorities have identified the prime suspects in the fatal shooting of Lullete Jane D. Ramilo-Dela Cruz, former Ms. Philippines Earth 2013 3rd Runner-Up, following an intensive investigation.
The brutal attack occurred at around 6:00 p.m. on February 13, 2026, in Barangay Cabaritan, San Manuel, Isabela.
One suspect, known by the alias “JayR,” has already been charged with murder and is currently undergoing preliminary investigation before the prosecutor’s office.
As part of the case build-up, the Philippine National Police (PNP) coordinated closely with the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor of Isabela to ensure the integrity of evidence, proper documentation, and the prompt filing of charges against those responsible.
Police Colonel Manuel B. Bringas, director of the Isabela Police Provincial Office, emphasized the unit’s commitment to justice: “The Isabela PPO remains vigilant, proactive, and impartial in fulfilling its duty. Everything is carried out for the welfare of the public and the steadfast delivery of justice.”
In response to the crime, the Police Regional Office 2 (PRO2), under the leadership of Police Brig. Gen. Antonio P. Marallag Jr., immediately created the Special Investigation Task Group (SITG RAMILO) to focus on solving the case.
Marallag commended the police units for their continued efforts, stressing that due process remains central to their mission: “Every step we take is grounded in the law and due process to ensure that anyone who violates it will be held accountable. Justice is not a privilege for a few, but a right for all.”
The investigation continues as authorities pursue other individuals linked to the crime, with the victim’s family and the public awaiting swift and fair resolution.
