Glamour, ambition, and deadly secrets collide in “All About Her,” a gripping crime drama that peels back the glittering facade of the beauty pageant world.
The story begins with a shocking tragedy. Isabella Fuentes, the newly crowned Miss Global Beauty Philippines, is found dead under mysterious circumstances. Even more puzzling, her boyfriend, William Dela Cruz, has vanished without a trace.

Investigators soon turn their attention to Isabella’s closest confidante—Olivia Rose, her best friend and fellow beauty queen.
Once inseparable, Isabella and Olivia stood side by side in the race for the crown. But Isabella’s unexpected victory sparked whispers of secret deals and simmering resentment.
As the investigation deepens, the film gradually reveals the hidden rivalries and dangerous ambitions lurking behind the poised smiles and dazzling gowns.

Director Joel Lamangan revealed that the film was loosely inspired by a real-life murder case involving a beauty queen.
“Pero hanggang doon lang,” he explained. “The whole story is original. We created it.”
“Dapat panoorin ninyo ito dahil makikita ninyo ang mga katotohanang nangyayari sa beauty contests—iyong mga hindi tinatalakay sa news. Dito malalaman ninyo ang nangyayari sa loob ng beauty contests,” he added.

The screenplay was written by Quinn Carrillo, who described the project as a collaborative effort with Lamangan.
“Direk Joel pitched the story to me. He was specific as to how he wanted the story to unfold, and I simply wrote it the way I understood it,” she shared.
Former beauty queens Kelley Day and Yuki Sonoda, who both star in the film, believe “All About Her” is a must-watch for Pinoys enamored with beauty pageants.

“Although what happens in the film is quite extreme, I can attest that there is a dark side to pageantry,” said Sonoda, 2nd runner-up at Miss Universe Japan 2020 and Miss Supranational Japan 2024.
Day, Miss Eco International 1st Runner-Up 2021, echoed the sentiment, noting that some contestants may go to great lengths to secure the crown—even if it means harming fellow competitors.

“Yun yung gusto ko talaga sa movie. Yung realism. It’s not just about the competition or the crown. You’ll see the insecurities, the hardships, the struggles.”
Produced by 3:16 Media Network, the crime drama also stars Marco Gomez, Angelica Cervantes, Tony Labrusca, and Pancho Magno.
“All About Her” is one of the official entries to the Sinag Maynila Film Festival, which runs from March 23 to 29 in select theaters.
