A motorcycle rider was shot dead by unidentified assailants, also on a motorcycle, in front of a fast-food chain in Barangay Payatas, Quezon City, on Tuesday, March 10.
The incident occurred around 5 p.m. The victim’s body remained on the road beside his motorcycle until about 8 p.m., when authorities retrieved it.
Another man was injured after being struck by a stray bullet, sustaining a gunshot wound to the hand. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police are conducting an investigation to determine the motive behind the attack and to identify the suspects. (Allysa Nievera)
