Long before her PBB Collab stint, Bianca de Vera had already made her presence felt on screen, taking on roles that quietly built her confidence and range.
This year, she steps into what could be her biggest turning point yet as she headlines the MMFF 2025 entry “Love You So Bad.”
“Hindi ko ine-expect na magkakaroon ako ng ganito karaming blessings,” she said, noting how surreal the transition feels. “Yung buhay ko ngayon, if I compare it from before… ito yung mga moments na pinagdarasal ko lang noon.”
A co-production between Star Cinema, GMA Pictures, and Regal Entertainment, the film casts Bianca as Savannah, a young woman entangled in a complicated love story opposite Will Ashley and Dustin Yu.

“It was really a journey. Rollercoaster talaga for the three of us,” she shared. “In this project, I had the privilege to get to know them from scratch again. I got to see them in a different light, which is such a blessing for me.”
But “Love You So Bad” is only one piece of the busy year ahead.
Bianca is also reuniting with her former PBB housemates in the much-talked-about mystery-family drama “The Secrets of Hotel 88,” an ABS-CBN–GMA collaboration that further cements her presence in mainstream projects.
“Pangarap ko lang maging Star Cinema leading lady noon,” she reflected. “Now I get the chance to be one.”
With her expanding filmography and an attitude that leans more toward gratitude than hype, Bianca de Vera proves she’s more than ready to step into her moment.
