Bianca Pagdanganan shot 1-under-par 69 and finish tied for 38th place in The Annika LPGA tournament at the Pelican Golf Club in Florida over the weekend.

The Filipina standout appeared to be on a roll after firing three birdies on her first six holes before faltering with a double bogey on the par-4 8th and a bogey on the ninth.

She briefly recovered with back-to-back birdies on Nos. 14 and 15 before stumbling with another bogey on her last hole to finish with a four-round total of 3-under 277.

She had earlier rounds of 69, 71 and 68.

The two-time Olympian finished 16 strokes behind eventual champion Linn Grant, who fired a second straight 65 for a 261 total for a three-shot victory over Jennifer Kupcho, who posted a 67 for 264.

Leading by one shot heading into the final round, Grant slowly pulled away with four birdies on the front side, before adding two more on the 14th and 17th. A bogey on the last hole barely threatened her grip on the top spot.

Meanwhile, Pagdanganan went home with a $15,761 (around P900,000) consolation purse.
