Two major international tournaments the country is hosting will be tackled in the Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum this Tuesday, Nov. 18, at the conference hall of the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
Philippine Football Federation President John Gutierrez shares the limelight with Gymnastics Association of the Philippines President Cynthia Carrion in the 10:30 a.m. public sports program to discuss their respective association’s upcoming events within the week.
Gutierrez talks about the FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup set to kick off on Nov. 21 at the Philsports Arena in Pasig, while Carrion is going to discuss the World Junior Gymnastics Championships starting on Nov. 20 at the Manila Marriott Hotel Grand Ballroom inside the Newport World Resorts.
Also joining the two National Sports Association heads are Pinoyliga Cup Tournament Director Benny Benitez along with Mark ‘Big Mac’ Andaya as they promote the Pinoylia Alumni Cup this month and other tournaments slated for 2026.
The Forum is presented by San Miguel Corp., Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, MILO, and the country’s 24/7 sports app ArenaPlus.
