Actress, host, and all-around multitasker Dianne Medina has quietly built a major e-commerce empire and she’s doing it her way: With integrity, honesty, and a heart to uplift others.

It all started during the pandemic, with Dianne deciding to try something new, different.

“Of course, we were all at home at the time and like most, wala akong ginagawa gaano. I was just trying to figure out what I could do to reach out to others who like me, were anxious and eager for a sense of normalcy.”

In her early live-selling days, she started by helping single moms, offering to sell their products via her Shopee and Facebook Pages on a consignment basis.

That gave her business genuine purpose: She wasn’t just hustling for herself, but lifting others up too.

“May entrepreneural spirit ako dati pa even as a student,” she shared. “Pero this goes way beyond earning. Gusto ko maka-inspire sa iba na kaya natin, sipag lang at tiyaga.”

Her straightforward, honest style has resonated deeply with viewers and shoppers alike, making her not just a seller but a trusted friend to her audience.

Today, Dianne is widely admired for her transparency and her “do-good” mindset.

“Kahit sino naman yun ang gusto diba? Yung honest ka sa kung ano yung binebenta mo.”

Her authenticity has found a huge audience. Note that she is now among Shopee’s top creators. On TikTok, she’s also gaining momentum.

Balancing business and showbiz hasn’t been easy, though. She admits she’s turned down TV opportunities because her live-selling gig demands so much time.

“Marami na akong tinaggihang TV offers kasi busy na rin talaga ako sa business ko, but I’m not closing my doors to acting,” she said.

She vowed that when she gets her schedule in check, she’ll return to screen work.

At home, Dianne credits her husband, actor Rodjun Cruz, for being her rock.

“I’m thankful na very understanding ang husband ko at very supportive. He helps me in so many ways … I make sure I have enough time for him and our kids. I love my work but family comes first.”
