The Community Chest Foundation, Inc. (ComChest), in partnership with the Rotary Club of Paco and the Sikaran-Karate Association of the Philippines (SIKAP), has announced the staging of a fundraising bowling tournament on Dec. 6 to support disaster-hit communities in Cebu.

The event, the Mon Yupangco Thanksgiving Day and Bowling Tournament, is set at the Paeng Bowling Center in Robinsons Manila with no less than six-time world bowling champion and Hall of Famer Paeng Nepomuceno, himself serving as guest of honor and speaker.

The tournament will have two sets of competition. The first set consists of one game each of Moonlighting (Black-out), No Tap (9-pin strike), and Low Score for beginners.

The second set includes the Councilor and ComChest President Mon Yupangco Bowling Cup which features three games with handicap, and the Masters Division, with three games without handicap.

All of the proceeds of the event will be donated for the relief efforts for victims of the recent earthquake and typhoon in Cebu,

Organizers said the event, which also serves as thanksgiving to Yupangco’s election in Manila City council in the 2025 poll, is open to all bowlers. Registration and inquiries may be made through the ComChest office at 1906 San Pascual Street, Malate, Manila.
