Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile is currently in the intensive care unit (ICU) receiving the best possible treatment and attention for pneumonia, his daughter Katrina Ponce Enrile disclosed.
In a statement on Wednesday, Nov. 12, Katrina said the former senator is under close medical supervision.
Enrile was reported to be in the ICU on Tuesday.
“My father, Juan Ponce Enrile, remains in the ICU where he is currently being treated for pneumonia,” Katrina said on her Facebook page.
“He is under the dedicated care of his attending physicians and medical staff who are providing him with the best possible treatment and attention,” she added.
She also expressed her gratitude to all who have offered their prayers and support to their family.
“We are deeply grateful for the concern, prayers, and support extended to our family during this time. Thank you very much,” she stated. (Betheena Unite)
