Long before Puregold’s TikTok series “Got My Eyes on You” began lighting up For You Pages, Mikoy Morales was already living the kind of journey his latest character reflects.

Early in his career, he was often cast in gay roles. At first it felt like typecasting; eventually it became self-discovery.

“Never naging confused, but I explored,” Mikoy recalls. “There was a time na I thought I was bi.”

Those roles arrived while he was figuring himself out. “I was exploring my life outside the roles, and also on how to make the roles better. So parang better understanding, ’yung ganon.”

Instead of resisting the label, he embraced curiosity. When he met his fiancée, writer Isa Garcia, he was upfront.

Isa admits she wondered how to react—“The fact na ‘yung boyfriend ko artista na sobrang daming kailangang gawing roles, na gay roles pa, meron kang iisipin na totoo ba ‘yun or hindi”—but his honesty settled it. “That was enough for me na maging super okay about it,” she says.

Now Mikoy dives back in through “Got My Eyes on You,” Puregold’s vibrant Boy’s Love vertical series tailor-made for today’s scrolling generation.

In it, he plays Drew, a driven resort operations manager eyeing a promotion, who clashes—and maybe sparks—with Shawn (theater newcomer Esteban Mara), a polished guest-relations officer. Their enemies-to-lovers tension unfolds in bite-sized, vertical episodes perfect for edits, fancams, and endless replays.

Viewers can’t get enough, with Gen Z, Millennials, and the LGBTQIA+ community flooding comment sections with “bitin naman!” Puregold designed the show for interaction, knowing the BL fandom thrives on conversation.

But beyond TikTok buzz, the series is a must-watch for its message of self-love and respect.

“We want to showcase stories that mirror the everyday joys, triumphs and struggles of Filipinos,” says Puregold Senior Marketing Manager Ivy Hayagan-Piedad. “Naniniwala kami lahat ng kwento kahit sinong ordinaryong Pilipino, dapat panalo.”

Directed by Puregold CinePanalo graduates Dizelle Masilungan and Lloyd Garciano, new episodes of “Got My Eyes on You” drops every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 7 p.m. on Puregold’s TikTok page @puregoldph.
