University of Perpetual Help System Dalta has officially released its final 18-man roster for the upcoming NCAA Season 101 men’s basketball tournament starting on Oct. 1, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

From a 20-man pool announced last week, the Altas management has decided to transfer two players to its Team B right after the pool’s grueling training under the watchful eyes of head coach Olsen Racela and his coaching staff.

Leading the Las Piñas-based school John Abis along with Parick Sleat, JP Boral, Jearico Nuñez, Shawn Orgo and Angelo Gelsano, Mark Gojo Cruz and Emman Pizarro, Aries Borja, JD Pagulayan, and Jan Roluna.

Backing them up are transferees Kevin Guibao (FEU), LA Casinillo (NU), JM Talabut, Josh Alcantara, and Allen Maglupay (UE) and siblings Kenjie Duremdes and Kylle Magdangal, sons of PBA great Kenneth “Captain Marbel” Duremdes.

The baller sons of the Koronadal City native recently served one-year residency after opting to move from UST to Perpetual last season.

“We are now in our intensive training, conditioning and familiarized set plays in preparation for Season 101,” said coach Racela, who steered Perpetual to an eight-place finish (7-11) in his maiden stint last Season 100.

“Since umalis ako ng FEU at lumipat dito sa Perpetual, nag-start na kami ng team training while we are in residency period” said Sleat, who is anticipated to lead the Altas’ assault.

“Sumali kami sa mga off-season na mgal liga, marami kaming natutunan doon going into this year season, nag-prepare ng mind, body as a team, ready and confident naman,” he added.

Bracketed in Group A in the grand old league’s new format, Perpetual begins its rally against San Sebastian at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City on Oct. 3.
