Singer-actress Gigi De Lana has strongly denied rumors linking her to actor Gerald Anderson and allegations of drug use.
In an interview on Julius Babao’s YouTube vlog, Gigi was asked if she was pregnant with Gerald Anderson’s child.
Gigi laughed and firmly said, “Hindi po! I’m not pregnant.”
She clarified that although she had worked with Gerald in the ABS-CBN series “Hello Heart” during the pandemic, there was nothing romantic between them.
Gigi praised Gerald, calling him “very humble, sweet, and a pleasure to work with.”
Another rumor addressed in the interview was her supposed drug use, which some speculated due to her noticeable weight loss.
Gigi shut down the claim immediately: “Ang pinaka-drugs ko lang ngayon is ‘yung cats ko. My cats and food. I love food.”
She bravely revealed that her weight loss was linked to a past struggle with bulimia—an eating disorder where a person eats excessively and then forces themselves to vomit.
Gigi admitted she was unaware at the time that her behavior was a serious health issue, but has since recovered and become more conscious of her health.
Now healthier than ever, she assured fans that she gets regular medical checkups and eats in moderation: “My eating habits are now controlled. I eat four times a day and I’m very clean and healthy.”
