After basking in global success with their cover of “Daleng Dale,” rising P-Pop group GAT continues to shine in the entertainment industry with two milestones—a debut single and an upcoming fragrance line.
Comprised of talented singer-actors Ethan David, Charles Law, Michael Keith, Derick Ong, and Hans Paronda, GAT made names for themselves in the P-Pop world with their renditions of popular songs such as “Huwag Ka Nang Humirit” by James Reid, “Marikit” by Juan Caoile & Kyleswish, and “Rainbow” by South Border.
But, it was their cover of “Daleng Dale” that made them a hit among fans, especially when it became an original soundtrack to the hit Viva One series “Ang Mutya ng Section E,” which stars Andres Muhlach, Ashtine Olviga, and Rabin Angeles.
Also, four members of the group, namely Ethan, Charles, Michael, and Derick, are all supporting cast members of the show.
With a rendition that spanned viral TikTok dance crazes and millions of streams on Spotify, GAT became poised to become big names in the local music industry.
And they continued that momentum last August 1 when they released their debut single “Kakaiba.”
Written by GAT themselves, “Kakaiba” sings about an extraordinary kind of attraction towards someone, capturing the ecstasy of an undeniably intense infatuation.
Along with GAT, the song is produced by The Kennel, an international music publishing, production and management company based in Sweden, and singer-songwriter and composer Kylu Garcia.
