After years of making his mark as the frontman of the acclaimed OPM band InnerVoices, Angelo Miguel is stepping up, launching his solo career by signing a record deal with Vicor Music.
“Ang naisip ko kasi, kung hindi ngayon, kailan pa? Paano kung dumating ang araw na hindi ko na kayang kumanta?” he shared, reflecting on the pivotal decision.
Angelo spent nearly five years with InnerVoices.
In 2023, their track “Isasayaw Kita” was honored as Inspirational Song of the Year at the PMPC Star Awards for Music.

That milestone affirmed his place in OPM, but the pull toward creative independence eventually became undeniable.
The decision to leave InnerVoices, he emphasized, was made with respect and care. “It was a graceful exit,” he said. “We talked it through. It was mutual. There was no bad blood—just different visions.”
Now, on his own, Angelo is determined to carve a unique path. With a rich vocal range and a deep commitment to songwriting, he’s ready to explore his versatility, expand his artistry, and grow without boundaries.
“I’m not doing this just to make a mark,” he said. “I want to offer something meaningful to the music scene—something that comes from me, fully and honestly.”

The opportunity to work with Vicor came through a trusted connection—his arranger—who reintroduced him to Chochay Magno, Senior Road Manager at Viva Music Group, and JP Verona, Vicor Music’s Senior A\&R and Producer. After hearing Angelo’s demo, the two recognized something special.
“Napakinggan nila ang demo ko and thankfully they felt na hinog na ang music ko, na it deserves a bigger audience. I’m really grateful for this opportunity,” Angelo said.
Plans for a collaboration had actually been in motion even before the pandemic struck. But like many creative endeavors, it had to be put on hold. Now, with the world slowly returning to form, those earlier conversations have come to fruition.
Looking ahead, Angelo sees this chapter as both a fresh start and a continuation of his growth as an artist.
“Of course, I want more people to hear my music—not because I want to be famous, but because I want to touch as many hearts as I can with my music,” he explained. “I want to build my legacy as a singer-songwriter.”
