Some of the country’s biggest showbiz names clinked glasses in celebration of World Gin Day at the swanky Diamond Hotel Manila, recently.
Think red carpet meets cocktail hour—with a twist of lime.
Gracing the affair were crowd favorites like rapper Nik Makino, viral king Boss Toyo, legal heartthrob Atty. Oliver Moeller, K-drama eye candy Kim Ji Soo, the effortlessly cool Mikee Quintos, Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose, and the ever-radiant Gabbi Garcia—just to name a few.

What brought them all together? A shared passion for one thing: gin, glorious gin.
“I like mine mixed with coffee,” Mikee revealed. “Kakaiba siya pero masarap!”
Julie Anne keeps it chill: “On the rocks lang ang sa akin.”

Boss Toyo? “Gusto ko yung may kalamansi! Pero game din ako with other mixes.”
Clearly, citrus and charisma go well together.
But it wasn’t just about sipping and selfies. Celebs were quick to remind fans: Drink responsibly, folks.

Even Global World Gin Day Ambassador Emma Stokes flew in for the festivities, sharing how this juniper-fueled jamboree is being celebrated in over 36 countries worldwide.
The Philippines clearly knows how to keep spirits high—literally and figuratively.

Brought to life by Ginebra San Miguel Inc. (GSMI), the event turned the Diamond Hotel ballroom into a gin-lover’s dream destination.
Three immersive zones made sure guests got more than just buzzed—they got educated and entertained:

Cool Botanica – A botanical garden for your senses. Guests walked through a vibrant space where they could sniff, touch, and even crush the very ingredients that make gin magical. Juniper berries never smelled so good.
Clear Archives – This London pub-style exhibit took guests on a journey through gin’s storied past—from its humble European roots to its now-iconic place in Pinoy culture. Think vintage vibes and copper pot stills galore.

Versatile Bar & Lounge – A sleek, airport-inspired cocktail lab where guests enjoyed bespoke drinks crafted by TESDA-trained mixologists.
But beyond the buzz and botanicals, World Gin Day 2025 served a bigger mission: to celebrate Filipino craftsmanship and global recognition.

GSMI proudly showcased its impressive seven-year streak of Gold Quality Seals from Monde Selection in Belgium, international love for its 1834 Premium Distilled Gin, and the continued success of local legends Gin Bilog and Kwatro Kantos overseas.
In short, it wasn’t just a party—it was a toast to Pinoy pride in every pour.
