Studio Viva is launching another kilig-serye, this time as headlined by Rabin Angeles and Angela Munji.
Titled “Seducing Drake Palma,” it is an adaptation of the hit Wattpad novel of the same title as written by Ariesa Jane Domingo under the pen name Beeyotch.
Both Rabin and Angela are excited about it.
“Alam ko na it’s a popular Wattpad novel at marami itong fans so, I’m honored and grateful na ako ang napili ng Viva na mag-headline nito,” said Angela.
Actually, binabasa ko pa an gang script sobrang kilig na kilig ako,” she added. “Very relatable kasi siya for me and I think it will resonate with a lot of people as well.”
Rabin on his part shared, “Sobra po ako natutuwa sa tiwala ng Viva sa akin. Kaya naman kami ni Angela at ng buong cast, we promise to do our best to deliver.”
Premiering June 15 on Viva One, the story starts off with Alys, a girl only too eager to help her best friend win back his ex-girlfriend – by getting the threat out of the way.
That “threat” is a newcomer in school – the handsome and mysterious Drake Palma who is fast-becoming the crush ng bayan.
The girl, Alys, is, of course, played by Angela.
Drake is played by Rabin.
Under the direction of the award-winning Crisanto B. Aquino, and with a cast of fresh young talents, fans of the book can be sure that their beloved characters are in good hands.
Said Cris, “I didn’t have to push them to create chemistry. It came out naturally. Magagaling itong si Rabin at Angela.”
Of course, just like most love stories, there is another cog in the wheel.
Enter Tripp Marco Palma, Drake’s cousin as played by Dylan Menor.
Also part of the cast: Ethan David, Rafa Victorino, Yumi Garcia, Frost Sandoval, Sara Joe.
Rounding out the cast are seasoned actors Mark Anthony Fernandez, Christopher Roxas, Lander Vera Perez, Denise Esteban, Nikka Ruiz.
Composed of 16 episodes, “Seducing Drake Palma” streams exclusively on Viva One.
