Liza Soberano makes first ceremonial pitch in Dodgers-Mets duel

Filipina celebrity Liza Soberano captured the hearts of the World Series champions Los Angeles Dodgers and their fans when she made the ceremonial pitch in their Major League Baseball (MLB) game with the New York Mets recently.

With her angelic beauty, Soberano also wowed the supporters of the Mets.

The 27-year-old Soberano’s appearance was part of the celebration of Filipino Heritage Night at the Dodgers Stadium.

The likes of current baseball stars Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Will Smith, Pete Alonso, to name a few, also present in the event.

“So honored to be amongst all my kababayans throwing the first pitch at the Dodgers vs. Mets’ game for Filipino Heritage Night,” wrote Soberano on her Instagram post.

“I was so nervous, but I think I did okay?”

In that duel, Michael Confonto starred for the Dodgers after spearheading a 6-5 escape over the Soto-led Mets to bolster their rankings in the National League West division.
