The Office of Vice President Sara Duterte announced her trip to Qatar and the Netherlands from May 26 to June 4, during which she will meet Filipino communities in Doha and visit her father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, who is detained in The Hague..
While in Qatar, Duterte will engage with members of the Filipino community in Doha through a series of scheduled activities, including a Thanksgiving Mass. She is also expected to visit a health center and a salon to interact with Filipino workers, followed by a brunch at a food court, and afternoon snacks and dinner with various community leaders and supporters.
In the Netherlands, Duterte will meet with her father in The Hague on May 30, and again from June 2 to 3.
On May 31, she will join a gathering organized by Filipino community groups in front of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague.
The Vice President is scheduled to return to the Philippines on June 4.
This marks her second trip to The Hague following her father’s arrest on March 11. She previously stayed in the Netherlands for nearly a month, from March 12 until early April. (Argyll Geducos)
