Exhibition games up at BOYAA court in Tondo

Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan and District 2 Congressman Rolan Valeriano lead a string of notable guests invited to the inauguration of the newly renovated Barrio Obrero Youth Athletic Association playing court on May 4, Sunday, at Brgy. 188, Zone 17, Tondo II, Manila.

Also invited to grace the momentous occasion celebrating the 76th year of one of Metro Manila’s oldest community-based sports organizations, is Manila Vice Mayor Yul Servo NIeto, current members of the Manila Council, Zone 17 chairmen and several BOYAA veterans.

The day’s activities, according to BOYAA president Vill Asuncion, will start at 3:45 p.m. with the blessing of the refurbished BOYAA court followed by a girls’ volleyball exhibition match.

Two basketball games are scheduled after the inaugural ceremony at 5:30 p.m., the first between GMA Stars against the BOYAA Select, the second pitting ASAP NA versus the home team.

Several PBA stars are expected to suit up in the second game. The entire event will be livestreamed at Facebook over the address BOYAA Inc.
