Last year’s runner up University of Perpetual Help System Dalta and La Salle Greenhills begin their best-of-three finals clash in the NCAA Season 100 Juniors basketball tournament on Friday, April 11, at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.
As Letran fell short on its three-peat bid, the new juniors division are expected to be crowned before the end of the month.
Game is set 2:30 p.m. with the Junior Altas out to claim their title since joining the league 40 years ago.
Coming off a convincing 96-87 win over the San Beda Red Cubs, Perpetual hopes to keep its momentum going when it battles a team still on cloud 9 after dethroning the Squires.
The Greenies beat the twice-to-beat Squires to earn another trip to the finals.
Out to lead Perpetual are Louie Rosales, Lebron Jhames Daep, and Jericho Cristino.
On the other hand, LSGH is pinning its hopes on Guillian Quines, Dale Ortega, Arle Podador, Gian Gomez, James Ison, Frank Osis and Ram Sharma.
The last time the Greenies won a championship was in 2017.
