Two of the most exciting Filipino fighters will bolster an already loaded February event for the Philippines.

ONE Friday Fights contract winner Carlo Bumina-ang will target a bounce-back win and Jeremy Miado will move up to a higher weight class at ONE Fight Night 28 on February 8 inside Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

After losing in his main roster debut, Bumina-ang looks to rebound against Song Min Jong in a three-round bantamweight MMA bout.

The Team Lakay representative saw his five-fight winning streak snapped against Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu, but “The Bull” remains confident with his ability to return to his dangerous, hard-hitting ways.

While he won’t have it easy against the Korean, especially as Song remains unbeaten since moving into the bantamweight division, he already has an advantage – at least when it comes to scouting.

The last time Song experienced a loss, it was against Bumina-ang’s teammate in former ONE Flyweight MMA World Champion Geje Eustaquio. This gives him a leg-up in preparing for the Korean striker.

Miado, on the other hand, hopes the new weight class will bring better fortune as he takes on the dangerous Gilbert Nakatani in a three-round flyweight MMA clash.

Once on the cusp of breakthrough in ONE’s strawweight MMA division, Miado dropped four consecutive bouts against quality competition, prompting his move to a higher weight class.

It will be a tough transition against Nakatani, who gave ONE Flyweight MMA World Title contender Yuya Wakamatsu fits in his ONE debut.

The pair will join what’s already looking like a stacked card for Philippine MMA. Lito Adiwang takes on #5-ranked strawweight Keito Yamakita, and Lions Nation MMA’s Jeremy Pacatiw battles Ibrahim Dauev.

In the main event of the night, two-sport striking king Prajanchai PK Saenchai defends his Muay Thai strap against dangerous Ellis Badr Barboza.
