Members of the Philippine soft tennis team were honored by Brig. Gen. Antonio L. Tamayo, chairman emeritus of the national sport association, for their historic bronze medal win in the recent World Championship.
They presented their trophies and medals to Tamayo in a simple ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 3, at the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA in Las Pin̈as City Campus.
The members, along with association president Lt. Col. Bobby Moran and team manager Jaekoo Yoon, once again expressed their deep gratitude to Tamayo and other supporters of the sport for making the season truly a remarkable one.
The national team members have consistently brought home medals and trophies from every tournament they participated in.
