Top collegiate cagers banner the Gilas Pilipinas U23 men’s and women’s teams in the 2024 FIBA 3×3 Nations League starting Monday, June 10, in Handan Shi, China.
According to Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP), University of the Philippines star Noy Remogat will spearhead the team tasked to go up against the region’s giants.
Also in the men’s roster are Perpetual’s Patrick Sleat and JM Tulabut, Ateneo’s Jynno Angelo Ladimo, Letran’s Jun Roque and San Beda’s Zedjay Etulle.
In the distaff side, the Nationals will have the services of Karl Ann Pingol, Kristine Cayabyab, Angelica Marie Surada, Cheska Apag, Elaine Atang and Camille Clarin.
Both the PH teams will enter the tournament as the lowest seeds in the week-long tournament.
The global tiff, which started in 2017, opens to 73 teams in each gender which come from 47 National Federations (NFs) across five continents.
It aims to promote 3×3 basketball and nurture its players for further development of the sport.
