BAGUIO CITY – The City Health Service Office (CHSO) said that 10 minors were among the 45 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) recorded in the city on Monday.

The CHSO said the 10 minors, 2 to 16, are all contacts of persons previously infected with the virus.

As of March 15, the Summer Capital logged 693 (10.58%) active cases, 113 (1.73%) deaths; and 5,744 (87.69%) recoveries.

Meanwhile, Mayor Benjamin Magalong said the city has been given the go-signal for the use of antigen test as border entry requisite.

He urged the city establishments like hotels and restaurants to require antigen tests for their guests. Magalong said two hotels – the Baguio Country Club and The Manor – have already started imposing this requirement. The cost of antigen testing has been reduced to P500. (Zaldy Comanda)
