Justice sought for slain DSWD employee

Friends and co-workers of Department of Social Welfare and Development-National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR) employee Justine Charles “JC” M. Accad are urging the authorities to apprehend the people behind his death.

Up until now, police have failed to retrieve the vehicle of the victim – a bluish silver Honda Civic FD with plate number ZEN-851 – which he was driving the day he went missing.

In a Facebook post, Accad’s co-worker, Maria Lexel Malajacan, condemned what happened to him.

“We strongly condemn the senseless killing of our fellow social worker,” she wrote.

“May you rest in peace, Sir Justine, and may justice be served.”

Another co-worker, Darstine Mae Grageda who described Accad as a “true public servant,” posted: “You are indeed a great loss to us, Sir Justine. We pray to God that justice would be found soon #JusticeforJustineAccad.”

A Facebook Page dubbed “Justice for JC Accad” has been created after the discovery of his body in a grassy lot in Bulacan. The page was originally created to find him when he was reported missing.

Its name was changed after his body was found stuffed in a sack in a grassy lot in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan on Feb. 21.

Bulacan Police chief Major Julius Alvaro said Accad died due to suffocation as his whole head was covered with packaging tape. He was naked.

Accad went missing on Feb. 19 after leaving his home in Marikina City. He was off to San Juan City Hall to report for work. (Jel Santos)
