Ex-Marine yields P1.3-M shabu in Makati buy-bust

Around P1.3 million worth of suspected shabu were seized from a former Philippine Marine personnel during a buy-bust operation in Makati City on Tuesday night.

Police identified the suspect as Rufino R. Advincula Jr., 53, of Barangay West Rembo, Makati.

Initial investigation showed that an undercover policeman transacted with Advincula along Avocado St. in Barangay West Rembo, Makati around 6 p.m.

After handing the marked money to Advincula, other cops went out and apprehended the former Marine for drug peddling.

Police found a red pouch from him containing seven plastic sachets of suspected shabu.

Makati Police said they seized from Advincula 200 grams of suspected shabu worth around P1,360,000. (Jel Santos)
